MDES- FC XML information package

Name: The zip folder MDES- FC XML information package (RY 2020)

Description: We kindly make this information folder available to the financial institutions using the MDES portal. The folder contains an information package (ZIP), which includes the updated user guide for the FATCA CRS (FC) XML schema. The FC XML version to be used in MDES will change to: v2.2. As per 01-02-2021, the OECD will require an updated XML schema for CRS reporting (CRS XML 2.0). The FC XML schema that is used for reporting in the MDES portal has been adapted to this updated schema. There are no major changes for the financial institutions. However, note that the header in the XML file must be changed. The user guide contains a change log on page 3 that provides more detail on this declaration. We also strongly recommend financial institutions to analyze the updated CRS XML schema documentation provided by the OECD, that has been uploaded on the AEOI module on December 22nd, 2020.
